347H stainless steel is an austenitic alloy with 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium/tantalum stabilizers, and it has a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than 347. This added carbon increases creep strength and toughness at high temperatures. It has tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and yield strength around 205–310 MPa, with elongation of 40–50%. 347H shows resistance to intergranular corrosion, oxidation, and thermal fatigue. Its high-temperature stability makes it suitable for long service in harsh environments requiring both corrosion resistance and mechanical durability under stress and heat.
