They offer tensile strength of 515–750 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of around 30%. Their stabilized structure provides excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding or exposure to high temperatures. B8C fasteners also maintain oxidation resistance and mechanical stability at high service conditions, making them ideal for high-temperature and corrosive environments that require long-term performance.
