Hastelloy Fasteners are mainly made up of nickel (at least 50%), molybdenum (16–18%), iron (up to 7%), and chromium (15–17%), along with trace amounts of cobalt, tungsten, and other elements that vary by alloy grade. This unique composition grants them exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, all while maintaining impressive tensile strength. Typically, their tensile strength falls between 690–1,050 MPa, yield strength ranges from 310–690 MPa, and hardness is around 200–300 HB. These fasteners also showcase excellent toughness, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability, ensuring they perform reliably under extreme chemical, thermal, and mechanical conditions.
